Here is your November 2011 Organizing Checklist
____ Nov 1 Don't forget to vote! Every election is important so take time today to get out and vote.
____ Nov 2 Wash down cupboard doors and drawer fronts in your kitchen.
____ Nov 3 Clean and disinfect hairbrushes and combs around your house.
____ Nov 4 Plan your holiday menu and begin picking up non- perishable items a little bit at a time.
____ Nov 5 Turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed!
____ Nov 6 Inventory your freezer and make room to store holiday items and food gifts that you make ahead.
____ Nov 7 Having overnight guests for Thanksgiving? Inventory linens and guest room supplies and restock where needed.
____ Nov 8 Dust any knick knacks you have. Those that you can, put into the dishwasher on the quick wash cycle to give them a good cleaning.
____ Nov 9 Give your mirrors a good polishing. Use a wet microfiber cloth to clean, follow up with a dry one to polish to a streak-free shine.
____ Nov 10 Still have warm weather clothes out? Time to swap out for cooler weather clothing. It's also a good time to donate those you didn't use all season.

------------------------
____ Nov 11 Thank a veteran for the freedoms that we have. Send a free card to a member of the military.
____ Nov 12 If you haven't yet put away your summer décor, now is a good time to put out the autumn/harvest decorations. Consider donating any décor items you might have had but didn't display at all.
____ Nov 13 Clean out the fridge. Wipe down shelves and containers before returning items to the fridge. Declare dinner a 'Leftover Hodgepodge Night' to clear out leftovers without wasting anything.
____ Nov 14 Make a couple of your holiday side dishes that can be frozen and re-heated to save time later in the month.
____ Nov 15 Sort out your sock drawer. Toss any that have seen better days.
____ Nov 16 Inventory your serving pieces for Thanksgiving. If you don't have something you will need, consider renting it. This gets you what you need, and frees you from having to store a seldom used item.
____ Nov 17 Go out with the kids and collect some fall leaves to use as a centerpiece.
____ Nov 18 Check and change your furnace filter. Your furnace will operate more efficiently, for less cost when your filter is clean.
____ Nov 19 Start compiling your Christmas card list. You can spend a bit of time each evening for the next couple of weeks and have your cards all addressed and ready to mail by December 1st.
____ Nov 20 Guests on Thanksgiving? Finalize plans with them and make sure you have all that you need.
